Welcome to Biscayne National Park

Biscayne National Park is 95 percent water, protecting Biscayne Bay, mangroves, northern Florida Keys and coral reefs. The Dante Fascell Visitor Center is the mainland starting point, while boats and guided eco-adventures reveal much more.

Why Visit?

The park’s signature experiences are on or under the water. Tours, weather and sea conditions therefore matter more than at a conventional drive-in national park.

Main Highlights

  • Biscayne Bay
  • Mangrove shorelines
  • Coral reefs and marine life
  • Boat and snorkel trips
  • Maritime heritage

Pamela & George’s Tip

Our suggestion: Reserve a suitable boat experience well ahead and keep a weather-flexible plan. A visitor-centre-only stop does not show the full park.
